Toronto's Climate

Picture
Many states of Canada are typically described of having a subarctic climate, but Toronto is a very unique story.Toronto has a Humid Continental type climate; it's spring and summer temperatures range from 15 degrees Celsius (60 degrees Fahrenheit) to 25 degrees Celsius (80 degrees Fahrenheit), which gives you a very wide range of activities to enjoy throughout the year. There's Kayaking, Skiing, Snowboarding, Ice skating, swimming, fishing, enjoying the attractions, and, of course, hockey just to name a few. The water of Lake Ontario, one of the famous Great Lakes, is what determines that Toronto's weather is warmer in the winter, and cooler in the summer. The location of the Great Lakes also serves another factor in Toronto's climate; it's responsible for Toronto's humidity, which always makes the citizens of Toronto a little sweaty. Although Toronto is one of the warmer cities of Canada, especially in the winter, winters can still become severe with snowfall on the ground from mid-December to mid-March. Winter temperatures range from -6 degrees Celsius (21 degrees Fahrenheit)  and sometimes reach -10 degrees Celsius (14 degrees Fahrenheit).
